You have walked upon the sea

You have walked upon the sea;
Please walk now on the waters of my heart.
You who stilled storms on Galilee,
Still now the storms in my soul.

Through the salt of tears,
Cleanse my inner being.
Even in the crashing of my emotions,
Help me hear the still, small voice.

Let me hear you, only you.
Fill my mind, my heart, my hands
With only You.
Help me let go of the weight of sin.
Let all my insecurities find their assurance in you.
You are the rock of my life.

Deep calls to deep,
And I hear your gentle voice,
Even through the thunder.
Help me choose to surrender
My whole being to your will.

Break my heart, Lord.
Build it again,
To be just a little more like You.

Deep calls to deep
    at the roar of your waterfalls;
all your breakers and your waves
    have gone over me.
By day the Lord commands his steadfast love,
    and at night his song is with me,
